The important thing to know about this toy is that it is very durable. When you first start flying it, you will crash - guaranteed ! Yet, short of stepping on it, this helicopter will survive intact.

It is a real challenge to fly and takes a lot of practice. It is controlled by infrared beams, similar to video remote controls. It is not a radio controlled device. Therefore you must stay within sight of it to maintain control - don't send it around corners or walls. I haven't tried flying it outdoors, which is not recommended, but I suspect that the slightest breeze would make it very difficult to control and sunlight might interfere with its infrared signals.

You'll get about 10-15 minutes of flying time on a single charge, then re-charging takes about 30-40 minutes. The blades tend to get knicked from striking objects, but low cost replacements are available and easy to install. As your piloting skills improve, this becomes less of a problem.
